Sensei Larry
Yesterday on Zoom we had another Sensei take over our class. He lives in Los Angeles and he has a black belt. He is higher than our Sensei's grade. He told us about this cool move, it's meant to look like a bow and arrow. He told us we can strike and block at the same time. Next Thursday he will be teaching us again. This Tuesday there will be another Sensei called Mark coming. Can't wait to sigh up for him!!!!

Hi Arielle, isn't technology amazing that we can still do our out of school activities online even when the country is in Rāhui / Lockdown.

Is this a karate class that you attend? How long have you been going to classes?
Yes I did attend this karate class, also I'm a purple tip and I'm hoping to get my purple belt this week. I've been attending class for 3 years.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are keeping busy during lockdown! That's awesome that you are able to be taught by all these different Sensei. The bow and arrow move looks very cool, is it challenging to learn? When we get back to school, you might have to teach us some of your new moves!

It's hard and so much to remember the moves but I would love to teach my class mates some moves.
